It's gone downhill... – I've eaten here plenty of times and have almost always had at least a decent dinner so I'm going to chalk it up to an off night. But I was so disappointed. Poor service, skimpy portion, Not Going Back – We had lunch on an average Saturday afternoon with an uncrowded seating area. It took 45 minutes to get two sandwiches that while tasty had so few ingredients inside as to be laughable. We weren't laughing however. We asked the server to bring us the check and cancel the order. BEST food BEST service!! – I go out on a regular basis from Thursday- Sunday nights. Finding a nice place to dine isn't always easy. Lulu's is the best restaurant that I've ever been to!! The service is more than prompt & the food is AWESOME. I ordered the goat cheese ravioli & it couldn't have been better. They also have a huge wine list- it's almost overwelming. Great Food – Ate at Lulu's with 2 couples. Had an excellent meal with wine and appetizers. All of the food was well prepared and very flavorful. Once we were finished with dinner, Lulu's was anxious to have our open table and offered us after dinner drinks at Azie (their sister rest, also good). I would definitely go back.
Good for dinner or lunch – We enjoyed every dish we ordered every time we had dinner or lunch over there. Besides that we received good services is and the interior of the restaurant also well done. I would recommend it to all my fiends!
Some French influence, room with nice atmosphere, wood fire – Visited this restaurant several times now. Conveniently located close to the Moscone Center and the hotels surrounding it. Being French, I found that the dishes I tried were not strongly influenced by France but still tasty. The room has a good atmosphere. RUDEST GENERAL MANAGER I'VE EVER MET. – Let's start fairly, though. I came with my boyfriend, his father, and his uncle. His uncle has frequented this restaurant since it opened, and has always been satisfied. Worth MORE than a taste & a night (just not on a weekend) – The place was packed & noisy, which is not how I typically like to dine. I did go there on a weekend so this review may not be too fair. My date enjoyed herself & so did I because it is all about good company anyways; we had just met the night before so the noise level did take from our "getting to know" each other experience. Good Food But Also A Little Too Pricey and A Very Rude Waiter – I went to LuLu's last night for the first time and my experience was quite mixed. The ambiance was great and the food was very tasty. We ordered the antipasti and steak, both of which were flavorful and delicious. Also, as has been said, their wine selection is great.
