I book a room for my wife and mother in law , the employee at the front desk was rude when they arrived, she also never informed them that there was no hot water , my wife was staying at this hotel because it was close to the hospital her mom was having surgery the next morning. My mother in law took a shower to find out there wasn’t any hot water. My wife then called the front desk to ask if they knew about the hot water situation and the employee at the front desk said yah we’ve had a guy on the room and in the boiler room... read more

We are leaving this review to let potential customers of the Marriott Vacation Club know just what kind of company you would be dealing with. We were deceived into purchasing extra "points" and lied to when questioning that deceit at our next face to face opportunity. We have been given a run around for the last two years, attempting to either sell back or even walk away (despite investing thousands of dollars). Had the worst experience with the front desk of Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel (front desk manager name is Caroline). And as today 9/20/2023, I talked to Marriott online customer service manager and received another bad experience! It seems U.S side of the company has different rules than the ones in China and misleading their U.S. customers. And when problems accrued they are telling different stories. Then this online customer service manager talked around 11:20 am today (I was too upset and forgot her name unforturnally... read more

Courtyard by Marriott Covington, KY - Very unsafe experience here. My vehicle, along with 3 others were broken into overnight while parked in their parking garage. Window kicked out and glass everywhere. Nothing of value in the vehicle besides a pair of sunglasses in the sunglass compartment, not laying out visible. After doing some research, there’s clearly a pattern of crime/break-ins in their parking garage, yet not a camera in the place and nothing being done to combat the problem. I stayed there (Moxy Uptown Minneapolis) because of the Marriott Brand. I am sorry to say this specific hotel is awful! We got bitten by bedbugs within minutes of laying down to watch tv! Those pests were not even shy to be in the light! We got switched to a different room where maybe there were less bugs; however, after 2 more nights I got enough bites to complain again. I was told and got an email from the manager telling me that I was getting all my money back... I am still waiting for my security deposit ( $300+). It's b... read more
