Buyers beware. I bought a leather mid century bed in 2016. Early this year as i went to bed i heard a noise. I could not find what was causing it. A few weeks later I heard it again. i notice the side railing was hanging low. took the mattress out and found that a few screws had snap in the middle.I called west elm and they told me to call furniture medic. If the bed can not be repair they would replace the bed of any bed of my choice. The furniture medic came to inspect the bed today and told me that the screws are not wood... read more

WEST ELM. Stay away, the looks of the store does not match the service. Our couch arrived very late, this was somewhat expected as shipping across the board is delayed. BUT, no screws came with the couch and the delivery guys (3rd party) couldn't do anything. Spent over an hour and a half on the phone to get simple cheap screws ordered (other companies can do this in a couple minutes or online). STOP F*%KING EMAILING ME Clearly purchasing peoples emails and information illegally. Never bought from this company before and will never in the future. Leave me alone, I have unsubscribed multiple times in a row. Day after day with no luck. I will consider legal action.

**************** is a JOKE. Got hung up on 3 separate times after waiting 20 mins each time. Had many conversations via email to end with nothing being resolved. Save your money. Or at least shop with a company who cares about customer satisfaction. ********************** is not that place.

I ordered two custom chairs in April, 2021 from Pottery Barn with initial delivery dates end of July. I received notification of delayed delivery three times. One chair was delivered with the second chair being scheduled for the following week. The second chair was supposed delivered on Friday of this last week. On Thursday we received a call to reschedule delivery but then on Friday the entire chair was cancelled and we were told it was lost and we would have to order another one for delivery in January of 2022. Purchased a serving bowl for $75. (shipping $11.99, tax $6.31) Total paid $93.30. Returned the bowl and got $68.43 back. What did the $24.87 pay for? Its more than twice shipping and shouldnt they return the sales tax if they didnt sell anything? And why wasnt the return cost spelled out clearly? Before or after the return? I had to find out from paypal about the refund. Why no transparency from the company? How on earth does West Elm has an A+ BBB rating with a **** average review rating? West Elm is an unethical business and exhibits borderline fraudulent behavior. I ordered a $6,000 couch from them in May, and I was told I can track my order online. For 3 months, there were absolutely no updates on our order on their website and there were no updates regarding the order sent to my email or phone number on file. I ordered office furniture in September that showed as in-stock, ready to ship, with delivery dates in October. I received notifications of delayed delivery times - now the earliest expected is the end of December - but with no options to accept or cancel in accordance with how I read FTC policy. I ordered a trundle bed and accompanying mattresses from Pottery Barn Teen in July. I canceled the order in September when they said it would hopefully be delivered in December (uh, maybe). Believe it or not, they charged me for the part that was ready (sitting in their storage), as they said it was "in process."
