Hi, After the experience I had buying Christmas stockings through West Elm, I will never shop at West Elm again, and I will actively discourage others from ordering from West Elm as well. I ordered 5 stockings on 11/18/21. I received 1 on 11/23. After a 20 minute call with customer service that day, the representative told me that they were sold out but that she found me 4 stockings and issued me a new order number. I ordered the Montauk dining table. Williams Sonoma advertised delivery between November 26 and December 10 when placing the order. I called to verify the date after several days and was told the item is on backorder and *** (***) ship in April. I opted to cancel the order. I understand supply chain issues and could have lived with them provided an actual date. The order was canceled. Purchased a sofa from West Elm that was delivered 15 months ago. Due to COVID, I've never had two people sit on the couch until Thanksgiving 2021 when the rails on the couch broke. This couch should be able to withstand the weight of two average adults without breaking. Now it's too late for the any warranty claim. The quality of their furniture is plain awful. Buyer Beware!

They dont pay employees on time! I have been trying to get a paycheck from thin since the 12th of November. It is now the 29th. I have called 4 times to get the checks sent to me. This is bad business practice I should of been paid on the first call I made weeks ago. I wouldnt tell anyone to work or shop here.

This is regarding my order#*******. I ordered online last Nov 14 and called after a couple of hours to cancel my order. The ** person told me that it cannot be cancelled anymore because it has already been processed. I told her I want to cancel because I want to change my orders and I dont want to pay for another shipping fee. So she offered me that I can do another online order and shipping fee will be refunded. They carry good products but don't stand behind the product. I purchased an expensive set of **** Henckels knives from a Williams Sonoma store in ***************, IN. At the time, the sales associate told me that if I ever have a problem with the knives or if one breaks, to just bring it back and they will replace it. Well I had one break but the *************** store is no longer in business. So I took the knife to a store in ************ and was very unsatisfied with the service. Do NOT order from Pottery Barn or their other businesses, if you have a problem with a order customer service will NOT help you and they will make you feel like you are less than! They dont hear you out nor come up with a resolution. You would think with how they over charge and make so much money on their items they would have better customer service and be able to help you! I placed an order with multiple items. All items said unlimited flat rate shipping. I used gift cards to pay for part of the items. After checking out I noticed I was charged $340 in shipping on a $1090 order. There were 2 separate shipping charges. I called to inquire about the excess shipping when all items were marked unlimited flat rate shipping. I was disconnected and my order was cancelled without me requesting cancellation.
