I purchased a $99 Calphalon **** set in mid December with a gift card for all but $16. I have waited 7 months for the set. I received an email saying a new cc# must be submitted to complete delivery. I had fraud on the old # they had so a new cc had been issued. I called ** and asked for a discount or future credit due to the long wait. They told me I could not get one. I asked about if Dream Swivel Recliner used any flame retardant chemicals. First, your online chat representative wasted 2-3 hours and provided no information regarding that. I called the customer service number, and the representative claimed they did not know more than what the website listed. I then emailed via the "Contact us" link on the Pottery Barn Kids website and did not get an answer for this question for over a month now. You are rolling the dice with your children's expectations/happiness if you order from PBKids. Deal with this company at your own risk, which is likely to include never actually receiving the merchandise you order. They will fail to deliver on time, continuously pushing back the delivery date with no notification/communication. After months of this, they may or may not deliver the item. Horrible experience with a defective item. Paid over $1,000 for a recliner/glider for my nursery. It was defective. The process of getting help and a replacement has been a nightmare. The soonest I can get a replacement is a year after I purchased the item. Ive asked for a refund or discount and they wont give me one.

As has been mentioned in other reviews, Pottery Barn will not tell you an item is on back order until you place the order (and, in my case, until one week later). I ordered a duvet cover for a guest room 6 weeks in advance of our guests arrival. It is delayed and now I need to buy another duvet cover and hope for the best in securing a refund when the Pottery Barn duvet actually arrives. Nine months after ordering and I still don't have my curtain rod. After several calls and emails, I got most of my order within 6 months of placing it in September 2020, but now I'm told the second curtain rod I had to order (because, 8 months after ordering, they told me they no longer carried the original rod I ordered - I ORDERED it but they no longer carried it after I ordered it???), won't be available at my "distribution center" until August 2021. Pottery barn kids has fake prices online. They advertised this backpack set I wanted at $73 and as soon as I add to cart, price changes to $101. Be aware!

Ordered furniture in early November 2020. It is mid-June 2021 and I still have not received my furniture, even after calling West Elm over a dozen times. They were never helpful and could never give me any information about where my furniture was or what timeline to expect for delivery. I wasted a lot of time and a good bit of money. Dont order from PB! Over $2k and 2 months laterwe still dont have our rug. Twice we have been waiting here on the scheduled delivery day, only to be told theyve lost our rug and had to reorder. No apologiesno explanationsno offer of any discount or credit for our hassle. In factwhen we asked, they told us they would discuss any adjustment ONLY after we receive our rug!
