This review is for Pottery Barn, which, apparently, is owned by Williams-Sonoma:I should start by saying that I do believe Pottery Barn makes decent products that are relatively well made and designed. Falsely advertise their shipping dates on the website. Ordered a bed from the company on Nov. 10 that was advertised to ship between the Nov. 15 - Nov. 17th, but it quickly changed to Nov. 20th. Now, it's the 20th and I'm being told that my bed will not arrive until Dec. 6th. Also, the scheduling customer service agent was very rude and essentially told me to kick rocks.
******* Sonoma only cares about selling, no follow up! The worst!!! I ordered two beds from their Rejuvenation website, back in July. I was notified in September that these beds were ready for delivery. But when I actually scheduled delivery date, delivery were cancelled due to not having all the pieces. Im not sure where to even begin. Ordered a bathroom vanity w/ countertop from PB in July 2022 worth approx $3k as part of a total order exceeding $10k for our lake house. Took months for everything to finally arrive. When it did, the vanity was fine but the countertop was shattered. PB attempted FOUR MORE DELIVERIES of this countertop, and it was broken every time. Very disappointing process. Item delivery time changed to several months out - called multiple times and was told items would be cancelled; over a month now and they are now showing as 'shipped', no delivery date, and charged to my credit card. I ordered an expensive 3-seat leather **** sectional on West Elm that is listed as commercial grade, thinking it would last longer than a non-commercial grade couch. Within months the electrical mechanism failed on one of the sections & since it was under warranty, it was replaced. Around the 1 year ***** all 3 sections experienced various electrical issues, some intermittent, others permanaent. We bought our daughters new pottery barn backpacks and lunch bags for their birthdays and within weeks of them using them, the pulls fell off and the bags started falling apart at the seems. Backpacks should be able to last at least a school year if not 3 in my opinion, these lasted weeks and when I tried to get a refund, pottery barn said it just looked like normal wear and tear.
