RecommendedI had my daughter here. I had my hysterectomy here. I love this hospital
Out of all the hospitals in Monroe and Alexandria, this is the absolute worst....especially the heart floor. We had one nurse purposely skip my moms room when she made rounds. My mom was due for all her medicine after her quadruple bypass surgery. She was in pain and having a terrible allergic reaction. It’s completely unethical to deny care to your patients. Was given several empty promises and assurances by doctor and social worker and some nurses very rude and not helpful with mothers care Patients fall thru cracks when going from one dept to the next like everyone’s hands is washed once patient is transferred!!!
Rapides Regional is my hospital. I would not consider going anywhere else! Thank you to the outpatient test and treatment team who treated me so kindly yesterday as they always do. Lenore Griffith was the best!!

It is a shame how patients coming into the ER for life threatening emergencies are treated. My dad waited 4 hours to be seen. Fluid so bad he could hardly breathe and many other medical difficulties. It’s been 24 hours and he has yet to get a room in the hospital. Last nurse that saw him didn’t even check his records before entering the room and had no idea she was dealing with a diabetic patient before administering “care”.
