I received mailed correspondence from QTC regarding my VA claim on Nov 26, 2022. It was dated Nov 21, 2022 and postmarked the same day. the letter I instructed me to be available for a phone call from a QTC medical provider on Nov 21 at 6:00 PM. This is not "short notice" but "no notice" of an impending phone call for my VA claim. Today I called the QTC point of contact in the correspondence and talked to a QTC customer representative. The VA does appointments through them selves, LHI, and QTC. Everything done through QTC is done poorly. Any problems they just send you back to the VA, who then sends it back to them. Amd repeat. LHI scheduled me the exact same appointments that QTC couldn't find within 120 miles as well. Just bad.

I visited QTC today. Before leaving the office, I asked for copies of my questionnaire, I was given my questionnaire, but under them was another client's information, with his first and last name printed on it and his confidential medical condition. During one of my exams, one nurse got another nurse to come in after I failed to score on the level she want me to on a breathing test. I did my best over and over. Horrible experience. Had an appointment there this morning. Got stuck in traffic on freeway. Called them to let them know I would be a little late. Arrived 3 minutes after their arbitrary deadline. They tagged me as a 'no show' and declined to evaluate me. I'm a 73 year old, Disabled Veteran in a wheel chair. Mobility is not easy. Their office is NOT ADA compliant. Absolute garbage scam company that scams the VA and doesn't care about you or your exams at all. They are all rude, they lie to you, and never even answer questions. They have hung up on me numerous times, scheduled appointments hours away from me without notifying me and then acted like it's my fault for not being able to attend that appointment. I have been working with QTC for VA C&P exams for the last two weeks. In that time I've gone to three appointments, and have had to move a few around. Revisiting mental and physical trauma is hard enough, working with QTC makes is 10x harder. QTC providers treat you like a number and they will not listen to you. One provider will berate you for being late while another is blatantly 45 minutes late to your appointment, after drove 45 minutes to get to it early. Horrible they sent me from NJ to NY this morning just for a X-ray and the place doesn't do it on Friday's. I called and the scheduler literally hung up on me because I said I wasn't going to drive back another day to find a location. I called back and asked for a supervisor who took over an hour and tried to send me back to same location this morning. Scheduled for next week in NY. 295 miles one way for a hearing test. Are you kidding me? How do you not have providers in a major metropolitan city?! The solution was to transfer me to a Tier II scheduler who 'found' a provider 75 miles away, in a rural **** town. QTC needs to expand their provider network, or maybe it's just that they make their billables per phone call, and they don't particularly give a **** whether you make it there or not. Normally my experience with QTC has been very good BUT this time it has been terrible. The VA remanded two of my claims back to QTC for evaluation by a Nuerologist and Orthopedics in April 2022. QTC has not been able to find these specialists in their scheduling system for two months but won't advise this problem to the VA. It's like they are holding up my examinations waiting for the doctors to magically drop out of the sky. 10 of my claims at the Board of Veterans Appeals are in limbo waiting on QTC to finish these examina... read more
