Highly discrimination against women. Completely harassed & disrespected on the phone by the agent. The person went as far to speed talk in 1/2 English & 1/2 another language so I purposefully could not understand. It wasn't even a call specifically about my account. PSE is the worst company. They installed a new meter and my bill jumped from about $200 to $300 a month. They don't care because it is a monopoly. I wish we had another company we can choose.
The worst electric company in the U.S. Outages shortly after repairs....lasting for days.
I despise this company with every fiber of my being. They refunded MY money to an ex because somehow he was the only one on the contract despite myself paying the monthly bill from my account. Now they want an additional $1400 for 6 months of bills I already paid! I even sent them the bank statements showing the bills paid from my account. And, they terminated my solar incentive program when the account was transferred to my name and failed to tell me I had to re-enroll in the program, so I lost out on at least a year of pay... read more

I am in the middle of a dispute of my billing the same as C.R. below. At this point no one really knows why my monthly billing went from average of $147 a month to $1,218 a month. That is not a typo. Puget Sound Energy sent us deceptive e-mails claiming that our gas use is 160% higher than the precious year. PSE wants us purchase additional services adn upgrades. In reality, our gas use is only 84% of what we used last year for the same billing period. Puget Sound Energy is sharing our personal account info, our hour-by-hour gas data plus personal contact info with many vendors. Puget Sound Energy is using scare techniques to force customers into additional services. Be aware of PSE scams.

Can I give zero stars? The over charges are rediculous, and the miss-information is constant. The ability for them to check a meter is easy, but refuse to do so. How is it fair that I am over charged, have the right to request to check to make sure my meter is reading correctly, and you refuse! so you just keep over charging people and getting away with it, because we have no other options for an energy source. Pugest Sound Energy took months to get a crew to put in my hand hole for underground power at an existing building, they set a date finally and then brought out the wrong equipment and delayed us more, I had electricians on site and had to send them away. First the demanded that I pay them the $12,000 + for the job, and then they informed me that they billed me the wrong amount because they quoted a bigger more expensive hand hold that what was needed. This company is a classic example of speaking out of both sides of their mouth at the same time. They claim a desire to provide excellent customer service, but their actions speak much louder than their words. After going past-due on my account which was 100% my fault, they disconnected my gas service. I thought it would be a reasonable expectation to call in and pay what I owed plus some sort of late fee and then have someone come out to turn my service back on within the next day or two.
