Had a fever of 104.7 on Sunday night! What to Palmetto Health Tuomey at 8:30 p.m. and left the hospital at 6:45 a.m. SMH Should have went to Manning or Florence. Have Double Pneumonia...and was told I could return to work on tomorrow.

Took my infant to the er bc she was crying in pain, had decreased diapers and feedings, and was running a fever. They did take her back immediately to see the doctor. The doctor however, told me he was going to need mucus, urine, blood, and a SPINAL TAP to test for infections. Never explained why such drastic measures, left the nurse to do that part. Then when time to do the spinal tap he wasn't wearing any sterile clothing or mask. He then poked my baby 4 times along her spine to try and obtain spinal fluid. After she cried... read more

Years ago my 1 year old son, at the time, had double pneumonia A couple of years later my oldest son was hospitalized for the stomach flu. They also kept me from going into premature labor with my last child and lastly 4 years ago they found my cancer. Each time they moved so fast I had little time to start to worry. Tuomey's staff are A+!

I had an upset stomach. The runs as everyone knows is a stomach bug, I used the restroom on the ER side, went outside to try and wait for a ride, but had to use the restroom again. Stomach didn't act so bad when I walked in, so I sat to wait just in case it did. Wasn't in there but for 5 minutes and the woman at the desk told the security guard to kick me out, I told the guard I wasn't feeling good, and I was trying to get cool air instead of sitting outside for my ride, but still kicked me out as far as the law goes, It's a... read more

I went yesterday for a swollen finger because I got bite by something my finger sent numb on and off , nurse (PA) , pushed on my finger , and said oh we will just give you some antibiotics you'll be fine . but couldn't even beginning to tell me what may have bite me . it didn't take very long to get to the back though

I went for my annual mammogram at the Womens Center and it was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and professional and it was a great experience!

Came in by EMS, couldn't walk bc of a bad fall. My head pounding bc i.hit my head... had to wait in waiting room. Finally when called back, x-rays went pretty good however I sat there and sat there and sat there as for a nurse 5 times within 3 hours not once they come in finally the doctor comes in and says oh take Tylenol you're fine when it showed that I had muscle strains and also a contusion to the knee if I could give a horrible rating I would the only way I'll ever go back is if it is life or death

If I could give you negative 5, I would. My daughter in law and I went into the ER at approximately 2 pm on Wednesday. She'd been vomiting excessively, with severe pains in her stomach, around to her back. She was put into the triage room as soon as she went in, only to sit in there for almost 40 minutes with no one checking on her at all. I finally went up to one of the people who check in and asked if they'd forgotten her. Her response "OH, they haven't seen her yet?" ...Continue Reading
