Of all the companies I have worked with to reserve hotel rooms, Priceline is the worst. The publish incomplete prices . I booked at room for $119/night and I got charged $268 by the Grand NYC apartments No one is willing to take responsibility ! Cancellation fee is ONLY $140.00!
We booked a 4 star hotel sight unseen for our anniversary what we got was a 3 star ******** ** *** ******* (we live here so we knew about their silverfish infestation this week) we also watch the news and know that all ******** workers are on strike. HORRENDOUS customer service, wish I could give 0 stars. This was the first time I used Priceline to book a hotel. I was promised a refund on one night from the hotel manager (due to strong cigarette smell being present in a smoke free suite). However, I was to contact Priceline in order to resolve the refund. Priceline made little (if any) effort to contact the manager about my refund. Apalling customer service. A glitch in the Priceline site led myself and several other customers to be forced to upgrade to a larger car at the rental company. The compact car that Priceline confirmed in writing would be available to us was not there. Rather than apologizing and offering a partial refund for the upgrade cost, Priceline blamed myself and the car rental company and refused to offer a partial refund. They are a scam business that does not value customer relationships.
selected one flight and got a different one after having to input my payment 3 times. No accommodation for making me wait 12 hours for a flight. Flight email wasn't sent out.
BUYER BEWARE!!! Just booked a hotel thru Priceline... so i thought. On Priceline.com internet page, half way down it showed "Special Discount when you book by phone: Call ************* (When you close and open the page again, it shows a different number. We've traveled for many years. This is the first time we booked with Priceline. Booked a ****** trip in late March 2018, paid in full and traveled in August 2018. Due to hurricane Lane, we had to cut our trip short 1 day. Which nothing really happened in ******* but we were encouraged by everyone to leave early. We rented a car through Priceline from a ***** ****** company in ************** ******. Priceline had an offer if you pre-paid for the rental you would get a discount. We pre-paid for the rental car and paid for collision insurance. When we got to ***** they said that the rental was not paid for and we had to pay for the rental. When we got home there were two charges for the rental car. One from Priceline and one from *****. If there were zero stars, I would give 0. Shady business practices by fooling customers. Over promise a hotel and under delivery. The csr were even terrible, doing nothing than saying Priceline wouldn’t guarantee the information it advertised/ showed.
