History Established in 1969. February 1962, Arthur Hood Jr. and Arthur Hood Sr. purchased a dealership in Fort Walton Beach. Seven years later, Arthur Jr.'s son, Preston, purchased the Florida dealership from his father and grandfather, and Preston Hood Chevrolet was born.

Air bags were recalled in Chevy trucks over 6 months ago. The air bag company went out of business. I bought this truck from Preston Hood in Fort Walton Beach Fl and look to them to replace the air bag as it is very unstable and unsafe but not getting and help from them at all.
Always a wonderful experience having service work done!
