History Established in 1969. February 1962, Arthur Hood Jr. and Arthur Hood Sr. purchased a dealership in Fort Walton Beach. Seven years later, Arthur Jr.'s son, Preston, purchased the Florida dealership from his father and grandfather, and Preston Hood Chevrolet was born.

Wasn't happy with results after sitting the most of my day still don't know what is really wrong with it but they sure don't mine taking you money.
I want to thank Preston Hood and the staff for my fourth purchase this year.....special thanks to jake...Craig up front for always working things out...and Kevin gehlsen for always making my experience work out ......and I can't forget Jeff in the service department for always taking very special care of me ....the best......we are always happy with their dedication to our needs....couldn't ask for a better dealership in our community....

I just relocated to the Panhandle area and found Preston Hood Chevrolet Service Department to be very professional and efficient in a recent warranty issue on my 2015 Tahoe that another dealership overlooked - As part of this service visit, I had the opportunity to meet the sales department and actually bought a new truck the next day. On vacation from arkansas and my air went out. They fixed it and even washed the bugs off my car.
This is an amazing place, they strive for customer satisfaction. I am from Hope Mills NC I was recently in the area visiting family when my AC went out. I went to the service department to see if they could possible help me before I made the 10-12 hour trip home with my wife and three kids.
