Incompetent power company. constant outages. Slow to fix them. No restoration times. Every time the wind blows or it gets cold, we brace for an outage. You'd think by now PGE would have their stuff together, but, they do not. My neighbor has been asking them for over a year to come clear the lines in our yards, the lines are literally tangled in branches. They won't do it. So, we are on our second outage in the past 3 weeks with a newborn baby. Nicely done PGE.
Company has a monopoly, so you don't actually have a choice but for them to screw you over with the worst service imaginable. I moved my electrical meter in 2019-2020, and it took 4 different employees, none of whom very openly knew what they were doing, and it took 8 months for one permit to move my meter 12 feet. overpriced, horrible customer service, horrible repair/response time... just horrible.
Provide RELIABLE services
PGE needs to notify residents in advance when they have landscaping crews coming out to turn off power and cut down trees. I lost 4 hours worth of work on my computer because of this situation. When I complained I was mocked by the landscape crew. I am a very unsatisfied customer, to say the least.
Business response:
Hi Cindy, I am very sorry to hear about your experience. In which area was the landscaping crew operating? I can report this issue back to our team to ensure this does not happen again. ^Rob

The wind storm on Tuesday Sept 8, 2020 felled a tree on the power lines to our house up on Germantown Road. We lost power of course but there were so many incidents we didn’t expect to have power back for a week. Imagine our surprise when we got power back at 3:15 AM Thursday morning! We didn’t even hear the chain saw removing the tree. You guys truly rock. Thank you. Kevin and Lauren
Business response:
Kevin and Lauren, so glad you got your power back Thursday morning! Thanks so much for your kind words. I'll make sure to pass them on. ^Anna
Thanks for coming out so quick and fix my neighbors power line! You guys are awesome <3 Take care!
Power is unreliable in winter and PGE has horrible customer service in the call center.
