Huge THANK YOU to the PGE guy who came to my rescue tonight. I'm a caregiver and my clients living room lost half of the power. He got here and checked everything out, only to find that the power was fine. The living room still had only half power so, he advised me to check the plugs and was on his way. As soon as I touched the cord everything came back on 😭 Thank you for taking the time to try to come help me and for your kindness!! 💜

BEWARE OF EQUAL PAY. I just got hit with a bill for $1,200.00 bucks and after doing some research online I see I'm not the only one scammed into this. I look at my usage monthly and I can't see how this possibly added up to this amount for my "true up". I had to set up a payment plan for the next 12 months just to pay this off! I just got a big run around by customer service about how they are making improvements to keep these things from happening in the future to customers. Just found out I allegedly owe $780 because of PGE negligence in the equal pay service. They know it’s a problem yet did nothing to tell their customers and even reported to the Utilities Commission to save themselves. There should be a class action suit and compensation for its negligence.
PGE installed a "free" smart thermostat in our home last winter. Our heating bill rose and when the cooling kicked in our heat pump exploded the first day that cooling was called for because the thermostat was wired incorrectly. That free thermostat has cost us at least $1,500 and PGE refuses to make any amends.
