BEWARE OF EQUAL PAY. I just got hit with a bill for $1,200.00 bucks and after doing some research online I see I'm not the only one scammed into this. I look at my usage monthly and I can't see how this possibly added up to this amount for my "true up". I had to set up a payment plan for the next 12 months just to pay this off! Just found out I allegedly owe $780 because of PGE negligence in the equal pay service. They know it’s a problem yet did nothing to tell their customers and even reported to the Utilities Commission to save themselves. There should be a class action suit and compensation for its negligence.
PGE installed a "free" smart thermostat in our home last winter. Our heating bill rose and when the cooling kicked in our heat pump exploded the first day that cooling was called for because the thermostat was wired incorrectly. That free thermostat has cost us at least $1,500 and PGE refuses to make any amends.

Don't leave customers in the dark- literally. A power outage that was supposed to be corrected by 11:30pm has not been corrected, and there has been no explanation. 12 hours now! And, can't check the outage info because the stupid site is under maintenance on Sundays. Unacceptable! Phone's about to die and I can't charge it. Rant over.
horrible company that overcharges and harasses those of us that dwell in apartments doing things like attempting to charge $455 for one month service on a 2 bedroom apartment with one teanant who is on a fixed income and disabled ...yet a friend of mine that has a house with a barn and 3 car garage who uses more power than I ever would pays $35 to $80....something not correct here folks
Owed 700$ paid them off completely then they turned me off after being late 1 day on a 250$ then want to charge you 150$ to turn you back on these guys are scamming our citizens because they know they can because we have no other option
I keep getting promotional materials from pge for free this and free that,but when I read the fine print it never applies to me.Just recieved an offer for a free energy saving thermostat only to find out my home doesn’t qualify.Stop wasting my time sending me offers that I can’t take advantage of.
