Provide RELIABLE services
PGE needs to notify residents in advance when they have landscaping crews coming out to turn off power and cut down trees. I lost 4 hours worth of work on my computer because of this situation. When I complained I was mocked by the landscape crew. I am a very unsatisfied customer, to say the least.
Business response:
Hi Cindy, I am very sorry to hear about your experience. In which area was the landscaping crew operating? I can report this issue back to our team to ensure this does not happen again. ^Rob
Words of inspiration. <3
The wind storm on Tuesday Sept 8, 2020 felled a tree on the power lines to our house up on Germantown Road. We lost power of course but there were so many incidents we didn’t expect to have power back for a week. Imagine our surprise when we got power back at 3:15 AM Thursday morning! We didn’t even hear the chain saw removing the tree. You guys truly rock. Thank you. Kevin and Lauren
Business response:
Kevin and Lauren, so glad you got your power back Thursday morning! Thanks so much for your kind words. I'll make sure to pass them on. ^Anna
Thanks for coming out so quick and fix my neighbors power line! You guys are awesome <3 Take care!
Power is unreliable in winter and PGE has horrible customer service in the call center.
September 9, 2020. Two days without power. No one has even come out to look at it. 102 effected but the recording says “Due to the SCOPE of the outage they still cannot give an estimated time to restore power”. Really?
Business response:
Hi Wendy, We apologize for the delay, and our crews are working around the clock to restore power to customers as soon as possible. We understand this is frustrating and appreciate your patience. If you haven't already, please call 503-464-7777 (Portland) or 800-544-1795 to report a power outage or downed line through the automated system. ^Rob
Thank you so much for quickly getting my power restored after the big windstorm. I appreciate your hard work.
While sitting and enjoying this lovely Sunday morning....I’m reading and hear a low hum, huge flash of light, a huge bang and my hands get tingly....Freakin squirrel.....fried itself on the transformer and now the power is out! Portland General Electric to the Rescue. Hopefully we’ll have power back soon....I can’t with A/C today!!! I called it in and within 5-10 minutes, there was a truck, a worker in the bucket and a fried squirrel 🐿 being dropped to the ground, like a bad habit! You guys ROCK!!!
Business response:
Eeek, what a way to start the morning! Thanks for your patience. Hope the rest of your Sunday is smooth sailing ... stay cool! ^AW
