Upon losing my job in September 2020 due to COVID-19 related issues, I was unable to make my credit card payment to BBVA. In January 2021, I called and requested if they would remove finance charges and late fees and I will pay off my balance by March 2021. Unfortunately, BBVA has not resolved this because I just (today 5/25/21) received a call from another debt collector, ************************ asking me to PAY this same DEBT. How are you saying this is resolved? My credit score has dropped to 567 because of this nonsense! I need this fixed immediately
Sadly, I'm forced to offer BBVA one undeserved star. BBVA is not worth of any stars. I have never had a worse customer service experience than dealing with the fraud department. What a waste of time. Assuming you are willing to wait for 30+ minutes to speak with an "investigator" it will do you no good as they have terribly poor training. And when you think they've resolved your problem you will find out later that they did NOTHING. No resolution. Having a great banking relationship with the bank of my choice is uber important to me! Yesterday that trust was lost when I spoke with a representative on April 15, 2021 who lied to me, simply put. BBVA Compass Bank has misplaced $350 of my mortgage funds. Three checks were cashed with my account number on the checks ($100, $100, and $150) but my mortgage account was never credited. I has been almost 2 months now and they still have not figured out where the fund are.
I opened a credit card online last month. The process took 2 weeks rather than 48 hours the most. After one billing cycle, i wanted to set up "Auto Pay" so i don't worry about missing any due date and payments.So i wanted to enroll in Autopay. Their process is to send you a text message to a mobile number on file. Then i realized that i had changed my number. If I could leave no stars, I would. I refinanced my car with PNC on 12/31/20. I was told they would send the payoff via certified check to Wells Fargo after the holiday and I was done. Nothing else to worry about. End of February 2021 I received a letter from PNC requesting I send them the original title of my car. I sent $1,000 through my PNC Bank via Zelle on 4/29/2021. I get a notification almost instantly in my email that: “We were unable to send money to (name) at this time. If money was withdrawn from your account related to this payment, you will receive a credit within the next 3 business days. If you have questions regarding this payment, please contact us at (phone number).” I call PNC bank they tell me. I wish I could leave fewer stars. My mother has been banking with PNC for years, and I have an account there myself. Over the past few years, my mother's health has declined. She suffers from Alzheimer's Dementia and lives in a nursing home. Naturally, I call and make an appointment to have my POA for her submitted, so that I can handle her financial affairs. I have been trying to get in touch with BBCA Compass for over three months regarding my PPP loans. I get transferred overseas to representatives that not only have no idea how to do their job but could careless if they help you or not. For a company this size you would think they would have a better understanding of customer service. I will no longer do business with BBVA Compass.
