I'm still undergoing a weekly check up and blood monitoring,,and i take prednison. My name is Kelly and I have just started my journey, being diagnosed with ITP in May. I am 38 years old and I am so glad to know there is a fb support group to help. I am just in stages of being monitored with monthly lab work with having platelet levels anywhere from 88-145. It's comforting knowing there are others going through the same thing as me, no one I know seems to understand and I felt very alone with no one to talk to about ITP. I hate that we are here, but I am thankful there is a group!
Sydney, Australia have been following pdsa for the last 12 months since my itp journey began.
