I had a new garage door and opener installed. Sandy, who worked with me to select my door was very courteous, professional and VERY helpful. Matt, who installed the door, arrived on time, was very professional and efficient. One of the cables on our door snapped. This left us with two vehicles stranded inside. Being the man I am... I was just going to lift the door. After pulling the red handle to release the door from the motor, the door fell at an angle and became hopelessly (for the manly me) to budge. I called to get an estimate and they were able to install it the next day. I was quoted for a basic garage door opener and to my surprise it has wifi capabilities! I called Plano Overhead Garage Door because they are the authorized dealer for "liftmaster". My garage door opener was 18 years old and now the remotes wouldn't work. I was so pleased with the tech as he patiently explained my options-repair vs replace and answered all my questions. My final decision was to replace and I was so pleased with the installation.Thanks, Nate and office staff.
I had a torsion spring break and trap my car in the garage. I had to force the garage door up to get out and this derailed the roller not allowing me to lower the door. I called to get a service person out but it was to late in the day to get one that day, but he was there early the next morning. Although my door was not in the best shape, rather than trying to sell me a new door the service tech repaired it for a reasonable price and was in and out in less than two hours. Plano Overhead has my approval.
TJ came out to our house on Dec. 5 to repair a broken torsion spring on our garage door. He was courteous, efficient and very professional. I could not have been more pleased with the work. Hal Denton
