Dear Dr Compton, One day you may find yourself on the other side of the operating table.... When that day comes, as angry and upset as I am regarding your total INHUMANITY, lack of meeting the expectation for a FIRST YEAR MEDICAL STUDENT, and astounding lack of care for our VERY SICK, SCARED and DEFENSELESS animal, I still wish you a better surgeon than you were for our dog... You deserve a MINUS 1000 star rating. Pet owners BEWARE of this HEARTLESS Vet! Run away FAST...

Very long wait but it was extremely crowded. Desk attendants were helpful and friendly and medical staff was attentive. Unfortunately the news about our dog was not good. Staff handled it very compassionately and professionally.

I took my chihuahua in because he was congested and having issues breathing. They were friendly at the front desk, which is the only good thing I can say about them. The vet that I saw checked him out and suggested x-rays and blood work. Of course I said yes. When I went back to find out the results he said his lungs were clear, but he was really congested and had drainage from his nose. I asked about antibiotics and his reply was “I feel like antibiotics are given too much to people and animals, if he isn’t better in a coup... read more

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Kraun and the rest of the staff at PVSEC South. The outcome of the procedure performed by Dr. Kraun on our 13 year old Labrador Trevor exceeded all expectations. Trevor has gained a new lease on life due to Dr. Kraun’s efforts.

Last night I brought my dog to PVSEC ER. It was 1a and there were not many people there. I had to leave my dog in the car when I first went in because she is extremely reactive to strange dogs, so could not just be brought into the lobby. I told the women at the front desk this... they took my info then had me wait. After a 1/2 hour I said, "I'm going to check on my dog" and went out to check on her. Another 15 mins goes by (for a total of 45 mins) and my dog is still out in the car on a freezing cold night. So I finally tel... read more

My story is very sad and I lost my best friend, I recognized the people that I encountered from the time I called at 6:00 AM to the moment I left the facility at 10:00 were courteous, professional and compassionate. Dr. Jett was outstanding and I feel fortunate to have her attend to my best friend. My dog's situation was out of her control with only one real option. I saw passion in her eyes and I know that when there is a dog that can be saved, you want Dr. Jett, she will give you her all.

I went to the new pvsec south in Canonsburg. Took my Izzy there at 4 am after she got into her pills. The staff and the doctor were absolutely amazing! They treat your pet as if they were their own. Can't thank them enough for helping!
