Not impressed with PVSEC South.. my husband took our cat to the clinic on Sunday with sudden kidney failure. I was unable to be there due to work. My cat passed over the rainbow bridge peacefully but I still wanted to speak to the vet regarding his condition.. 4 days later after 2 phone calls and voice mail to the vet I have yet to hear back from her. I guess once payment is made you are no longer important .. I have never had to use an emergency vet in the past but I will never visit this one again.. truly not impressed

I think this is the place to go with your furry friends. They give excellent care !!! 🐈They are very kind and caring and up front about the cost of caring for your pet. I highly recommend them 🐈

Dr Newman and her staff are truly amazing. In the 2 years we have been an oncology patient, they have done everything they can to keep my dog, Jack, happy and healthy. They really have become a second family to my dog and we are so grateful for everything they’ve done.

I lost my beloved kitty Lily yesterday. Her symptoms developed suddenly and progressed rapidly. The Vets and Vet techs were kind and compassionate, even though Lily [true to her nature) was less than cooperative. She was in a lot of pain, they did their best to control it, that is all I could ask. She died with dignity. I cannot say enough about these wonderful people

My wife and I had to bring our Sprocket into PVSEC South Friday 12/29/17 aroind midnight. He was crying and in pain. The staff and Dr. Rexford were fantastic. We were taken into an exam room and with the Vet in just a few minutes. Less than an hour later we were on our way home with a treatmwnt plan and a happy dog. Thank you

We were relatively nearby for Christmas holiday when our dog Hazel got aspiration pneumonia. PVSEC was the closest 24-hour veterinarian (1 1/2 hour drive away). Everyone in the ER was amazing. Hazel was seen almost immediately and put in an oxygen tent. The vets took excellent care of her. All the vet techs and nurses were very accommodating. With no one to make a recommendation we were putting our trust in a hospital we didn't know. So very grateful to be able to make a referral that someone else might need. Thank you PVSEC... read more

I had brought my dog to have surgery here twice a few years ago. She was suffering from a hereditary knee problem, where both her back knees would slip out of place, and ultimately would never stay in unless held together with a pin (hence the surgery). Fast forward ... she starts to limp about 4 months ago and we weren't exactly sure what the cause was and feared something was wrong with her knees. She didn't have an accident or abruptly moved so we figured it had something to do with her knee problem. Get to the doctor and... read more

Never again will I entrust this facility to care for my animals. I took my dog in for specialty testing I was unable to obtain through my local vet. He walked in tail wagging, greeting other dogs in the lobby. After making a large deposit for what was supposed to be 3 days of evaluation his condition changed on a dime. Within 5 hours of care he died, or so I was told. His reports said he was euthanized. Whatever happened, he surely was not treated properly. Communication was terrible and all centered around justifying charge... read more
