These people gave us some extra time to say goodbye to our dog Gus . He had stage 4 t-cell lymphoma. We miss him all the time .. Special thanks to Dr Sepesy for everything you do ..
Yesterday was my first visit to the South Hills PVSEC. From the moment I walked in everyone was beyond nice and caring. Every person took the time to talk to Remington and make him feel safe. From the front desk girls to the tech to Dr. Finn, it was a GREAT experience. I have never been to an office where everyone took so much time to comfort Remi-I can' say it enough! Thank you everyone! Now if I can just get him to not scratch at his eye!
A few weeks ago, my elderly cat was definitely at the end of her life. I called the Washington office on a Saturday morning to see about bringing her in to stop her suffering. She died on the way there, but the staff was so wonderful. They saw how upset we were. They took our cat and showed my son to the hot chocolate machine. When they returned our carrier, they brought a clay imprint of her paws. I didn't expect that! A few days later, they sent a sympathy card! Didn't expect that either. And then just a few days ago, we g... read more
Thank you Dr. MacKillop and the neurology department staff for taking such great care of Hope. Dr. MacKillop explained Hope’s condition in great detail to us. His level of care and concern put us at ease. We greatly appreciate the time he took to provide us with the best plan for her health.
On October 14, my dog Diesel was diagnosed with stage 5 lymphoma at their Washington location. The following Monday, we took him first thing in the morning to Pittsburgh as a drop off to the oncology department. From the first time we were there, they took very good care of my pup. We discussed options and decided to go through with chemo. It was a pricy decision but they let us know about different financial options and helped make it as affordable as possible. Unfortunately, after 3 different unsuccessful chemo treatments,... read more
Very caring and informative staff. We don’t have all of our answers yet as to our pups issues but I feel like we are making progress and heading in the right direction.
I am grateful to Dr. Payne and staff! My vet referred me to here as we had been doctoring with my dog for over 6 months with no real improvement or definite diagnosis. I came down with Rocky in early December, he could barely walk and we were physically having to lift him up to take him outside and he was becoming very aggressive because he was in so much pain. Dr. Payne did a thorough examination on Rocky and suggested a fluid tap of his joints to help with diagnosis. Even though they were extremely busy and it was later in... read more
The Staff did an amazing job with my dog when she was hit by a car almost 3 yrs ago and was severely tore up.. She recovered from her injuries and was able to return to her crazy self.. unfortunately she recently passed from cancer.
I can not speak for others but my entire experience was positive. Our pet was cared for and I was treated with patience by mostly all staff members. I had many questions each time I called and each person I spoke with did their best to make sure I felt comfortable. Dr. Saile was friendly and saved our Boxer Rex. What I loved is that she even drew pictures to make sure we totally understood what she was saying. I would use this hospital over and over again if I had to.
