We had to take our dog Sidney here because she was urinating blood for two weeks and was originally being treated for a UTI. After being sent by an Urgipet facility, the front desk was anticipating our arrival. Every single person we came in contact with was so nice and compassionate. Sidney ended up having emergency surgery to remove her kidney, spleen and a blood clot from her bladder and had to stay for 3 days. Sadly, we received the grim diagnosis of Hemangiosarcoma. We are devastated but were so impressed by the care ou... read more

Marlo was brought in as an emergency. The staff was courteous, thorough, and compassionate. We are just in the beginning of many numerous tests, based on my visit, I feel confident that she is in very good hands. Thank you for caring for our beloved fur baby.

TERRIBLE!!! Be VERY careful if you love your pet!!! Took our dog there late at night (an hour drive) because she was disoriented, walking backward, and in obvious pain. The "doctor" (who looks like she was 14 years old) informed us she probably had a brain tumor, and euthanasia was our best option. An overnight stay, several tests, and a bill for $1000 later, and we took our girl home, thinking the worst. After an appointment with her regular vet, she discovered (in less than 5 minutes) that she had a triple ear infection, a... read more

The care and understanding from the staff is so comforting. It's usually emergencies when we have to visit PVSEC. Thank you Dr. Bridget Urie for the compassion and love you show not only to the animals under your care and guidance.... but for your sincere, heartfelt kindness to the pet parents also. Our cat Wiggles is in the best of hands. THANK YOU PVSEC.

Dr. Finn and Dr. Bagley treated our shih tzu great. “Frankie “ had to have his eye removed and the entire staff made the difficult process much easier to deal with. Highly recommend this facility for anyone with a dog that needs “specialty “ care. Thanks again !!!!!

We had a long wait before my kitty was even seen, but it happens. Everyone was very sweet. Unfortunately i had to make the decision to put my sweet Bella girl down last night. Hey provided us with a private room and as much time with her as we needed. I were allowed to hold my babygirl while she went across the rainbow bridge

We took our 13 year old Chihuahua, Mollie, to the Washington PA location for tracheal collapse and chronic bronchitis. The doctor spent a great deal of time with us explaining exactly what she had, our options, and what he would like to try for her condition. Dr Johnson was extremely thorough in his exam and information. The staff was super friendly, and genuinely seemed concerned about our Mollie. It isn't cheap, but leaving there with peace of mind and a specific course of action was well worth the two hour drive and cost.... read more
