Excellent care!
We had numerous wonderful doctors at PVSEC. From dermatology to oncology to neurology, I was very impressed with the treatment out boxer received.
PVSEC was integral in saving our dog's life. From the ER/ICU/Hospital to Internal Medicine and Neurological Medicine, the doctors worked together to try to determine the problem and put together a plan for wellness. Our dog was given superb care by dedicated doctors, nurses, and technicians, and we--the scared pet parents--were treated with kindness, respect, and patience. I believe the care provided by PVSEC saved the life of our dog. THANK YOU!!
Our lab,Lance, was referred here because of a very aggressive melanoma. Dr Erfourth spent so much time with us explaining treatment options and answering questions. Both he and Kelly the vet tech, were patient, kind and compassionate. Pittsburgh veterinary specialty specialty was highly recommended and I know why.
My pets have always recieved great care here.. they are expensive but the best
We couldn’t say enough how grateful we are for Dr Compton and the staff there. Our 4 year old Golden Retriever Tobey just had his second TPLO surgery. We had great results the first time and wanted only her to do his second surgery. We are 2 weeks into his recovery and we are perhaps even more happy with our decision to bring him to Dr Compton. Thank you for the great care you have given to our boy!!
Though I've always heard wonderful things about this place, fortunately I never had a reason to go until today. I needed emergency treatment for one of my rabbits who sustained a traumatic ear injury and I was seen promptly and immediately. His care only took about two hours and the price was so incredibly reasonable. I was so impressed and incredibly grateful for the care my rabbit received!
I had to take my beagle in this evening because he lacerated his shoulder pretty bad. I was impressed with how fast he was seen and cared for. I was only there an hour. The doctor I had was far from "uncaring" like I have seen some of the other reviews say. He got down on the floor with my dog and tried to relax him since he was scared. He explained exactly what he was going to do and what to expect. The girls at the front desk throughly went over his after care instructions and listening to them talk to the other customers ... read more
