This place is a out of hand. Told my wife that my dog had to stay at there facility to receive oral antibiotics. This cost us $3000.00. That is completely out of line!

Archie Bunker has been a patient of Dr Urie for almost 5 years. Thanks to them I got to spend these past years with my beagle. It’s better than Prozac 🤪

Dr. Saile and the team have been wonderful during my dog's ACL/knee surgery. We are two weeks in to an 8-week recovery. I am thankful for their patience and expertise.

Took our bunny there 2 months ago. Unfortunately, she couldn't be saved and had to be put down. The staff of PVSEC showed our bunny and us the utmost care and compassion. They also sent us a sympathy card a month later.

I cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Pardo and the staff at the South Hills location enough! While visiting family in Washington, Pa, one of my pups really injured his leg enough to require surgery and a lot of care. The staff at PVSEC South were simply amazing, not only with Murphy, but with this scared mama as well! They allowed us to visit Murphy while he was in the hospital, answered countless questions and phone calls, and took such wonderful care of Murph. I can't recommend them enough. I need more than FIVE stars! Tha... read more

Very thorough when providing and estimated cost as well as in explaining the technical aspects of the procedure. PVSEC provided updates regularly as our Louie recovered after surgery. Every staff member was friendly and helpful going out of their way to show kindness and compassion. Louie is feeling better every day and we are so glad that we had the MPL surgery. PVSEC is an amazing hospital, top notch!

My family highly recommends the Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center!! I can not say enough wonderful things about these people!!! They were so compassionate, so loving with our Chocolate Lab, Bridget, and it hasn’t ended there. They had a grief counselor call to check on us and today we received the most beautiful card. Each person, including the vet (who was especially busy) took the time to write us a personalized note sending their love. What a wonderful gesture and it’s heartwarming to know there are still... read more
