total satisfaction, very caring and comforting in an emergency
My cat spent 2 nights here due to urinary blockage. They sent him home covered in poop and saturated in urine! I called to talk to someone about it and dr brown argued with me and told me they couldn’t do anything else to clean him up because he was mad and hissing at them. I would think that a speciality emergency veterinary clinic would know how to calm a cat down enough to clean poop and pee off of him! Yes they fixed his blockage (for now) but they certainly did not care for him while he was there! Not happy after spendi... read more
We recently moved from Indianapolis to the Pittsburgh area and were referred to PVSEC by our new primary care veterinarian. Not knowing anything about this surgery center, I was nervous going in but from the very first call when they contacted me to set up the initial consultation, to check-in, exam, surgery consult to check-out they were all top-notch professionals. Not only that but they were all kind and empathetic. I was very impressed by everyone from front desk to vet tech to surgical resident to surgeon. I left knowin... read more
My fiancé and I took our 3-year-old pup into PVSEC North around 10 PM on a Sunday night as he was having diarrhea, was lethargic, had a fever, and couldn't open his eyes due to infection. All his symptoms seemed to come out of nowhere and we had heard from family that PVSEC was the best emergency vet facility in the state (and luckily right here in Pittsburgh). I am incredibly thankful that this is where we brought Finn - what we thought was maybe a bug turned out to be a week-long hospitalization for a possible bacterial in... read more
Thank you so much PVSEC for saving my girl Chloe and for helping us out the past few weeks. Dr. Jett, Dr. Dickinson, and Dr. Ross were our main doctors during her visit in ICU and were amazing even when I called to check in in the middle of the night. All of the techs were so sweet and made me feel so comfortable and I knew she was in the best hands. Lindsey and Sara were the two main techs I saw and they were nothing short of amazing. It was also made clear what I would be spending on her care and I was given updates daily ... read more
Awesome professional group of specialist. 5***** stars
The staff at this facility were so friendly and understanding. The doctors were very knowledgeable and explained everything we needed to do and what the costs would be. The cost is very reasonable for the emergency visits. Love this place and he staff! Thank you so much for helping us through a difficult decision and time in our lives!
The staff was wonderful. My black lab passed away but they were understanding and caring
Great care and follow- up. Staff was out standing. Thank you
