PVSEC is my go to ER hospital
Dr Bohn and Dr Matso were wonderful with our Bentlee and us when he had to have a cyst removed under his spinal cord. We were so worried and scared but felt at ease after talking to Dr Bohn before surgery. We just returned from our 10 day check up and everything is going great. We are so thankful for all that had a hand in the care of our little guy.
Thank you to the Washington pa location for treating us like family. My poor baby pitty, black lab springer spaniel took her last breaths after health complications. They were so good to us in our trying times. Thank you so much. We miss our baby.
great staff. made a horrible situation less stressful. all staff put my mind at ease that I was making the best decision. thank you all.
PVSEC puts the animals 1st.. Best ER for animals in the Pgh Area.. Used AVETs before no comparison.. Used PVSEC since 2001! I was willing to do anything for my 10 yro Rottweiler back then..Sheba was diagnosed with bone cancer.. when the vet ask me if I was going to treat her for me or her.. this statement made me think and i did what was best for Sheba😊

We made the decision to put him to sleep and everyone was so kind and compassionate. We wanted to bring Jake home with us to bury him and they put him in a little coffin and wrote his name with hearts on it. They also gave u... read more
Excellent facility and excellent staff. Yes, the price tag is not cheap but knowing your pup is in great care makes the cost worth it. Let’s face it, our animals are like our children! The staff at pvsec (everyone from the front desk to vet techs, to veterinarians / specialists). Sending a very special thank you to Dr. Reiter and Dr. Smith and sending a huge thank you to the two ladies at the front desk (awful with names, sorry!) you all made a very hard and stressful time much easier for all of us!
THANK YOU to the CCU and cardiology staffs and especially to Dr Erin Anderson for taking such wonderful care of Oscar Ballerina this week! He’s home and resting with his new pacemaker. I’m so grateful to have PVSEC in our community.
Wonderful facility and staff
