Tonight we had to bring our cat Smoov in for unfortunate heart failure. The staff here was amazing. As soon as they saw his condition they had someone run out to get him. Smoov has been sent to kitty heaven but we are so thankful for the compassionate team here. It was a really rough night but they made it as easy as possible for us and were so great to our baby 💔

Recently brought in a foster dog who was having trouble delivering puppies. She was quickly triaged and care started almost immediately. We were updated on her status several times. She unfortunately required surgery, which was explained in detail and updates were also provided. The staff was very caring towards Tinker and her puppies! Thank you for saving her life!

Wednesday evening, my sweet Dachshund, Parker’s heart condition took a turn for the worst. When I called my regular vet, Ebensburg Animal Hospital, on Wednesday night they knew he needed immediate care and recommended us to go to Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center. It was nerve racking to go to a brand new vet with our precious boy in such serious condition, but PVSEC rose above all expectations. They were warm, gentle, honest and so caring.
