I was referred to Dr. Gornik for my chihuahua's corneal ulcer. She and her assistant were very gentle with Lyssie and took time to make her feel comfortable (and me too!) Everything was explained very clearly to me, and I was sent home with a review of what had been done and how to administer medications. We were in and out within 30 minutes.

All of the doctors, vet techs, and receptionists here are wonderful. We had to bring 2 of our dogs here for treatment, one for lymphoma and another for renal dysplasia. They took such good care of our boxers and helped us through every bump in the road to treat them. I would not recommend any other place for specialty or emergency treatment.

Thank you so much for taking such good care of Chloe! Very friendly and professional staff. Clean exam rooms and made me, as a very nervous fur mom, very comfortable. The vet who took care of her made us feel safe and that Chloe would be okay.

My dog Scrappy had surgery on his left ACL that was torn on Thursday. I can not say enough about my experience of how great it was. From my first appointment meeting Dr. Anderson he took time with us, was not rushed, answered all questions and was just so good with Scrappy. Then Thursday when we checked in Jennifer was excellent...she was very calming, explained everything I could expect to happen and walked he through step by step. I received a call post op and the intern working with Dr. Anderson was so nice. I was so worr... read more

Here are my kudos to PVSEC. Betty has luxating patellae so can't stand on a grooming table long enough for a haircut. So I do her in sections. Two days ago I put her in the sink, did the entire front half, but not the rear. Today I was going to do the back half & give her a bath. PVSEC had to sedate her today for her exam & stitches, so somebody there finished her hair cut. When we got home I realized that it had been done. She still needs a bath which she'll get after her stitches come out. But I can't thank them enough. It... read more

My husband and I drove 4 hours from Southern West Virginia to have our dog seen by Dr Anderson, so she could be cleared for her dental. We were very impressed with PVSEC, and with Dr. Anderson. I can only hope I am as impressed with Dr. Mendoza on our next trip up.

My wife and I deeply regret and apologize to the staff for our comments regarding our Dog's treatment at PVSEC. Although not an excuse for our misuse of social media; miscommunication, frustration and despair were amongst the reasons. Unfortunately we vented the night before meeting our surgeon. We have the utmost respect and trust in her ability to help our dog. Living a life that's already filled with non curable disease, tremedous loss, depression and uncertainty for the future, we aquried our dog to bring happiness, comp... read more

If I could give a negative star I would. I will never in my life take a sick animal here nor will I ever recommend anyone to this place. My family and I had the most traumatic, horrifying experience at this clinic. Our 4 month old puppy is no longer alive because of PVSEC. They did not go above and beyond, they did not take any extra measures. They did nothing for our girl because all they kept talking about was money money money. They have no idea why our perfectly healthy puppy, who was cleared with a good bill of health f... read more
