Let's get the wait time component out of the way. I took my 4 yro chihuahua, who was having intense muscle spasms for over 24 hours, to the emergency vet this past Saturday night. I immediately noticed how packed the parking lot was. Upon entering the facility the waiting room was full and they let me know the wait time was 5 hours. It was my decision then and there what I wanted to do. I stayed. I appreciated their transparency and while I know 5 hours is an extremely long time it was my observation that was the case becaus... read more

Thank you Dr. Compton, Dr. Bornkamp, and all the incredible staff at PVS-EC for ensuring a safe and successful procedure for my boxer, Molly. Drs. Compton and Bornkamp were extremely supportive in the decision-making process leading up to surgery, and I am very grateful for their knowledge, compassion, and love of animals. Also, I would like to thank Molly's overnight nurse Kay for talking with me on the phone a few times to provide updates on my girl. Also, thanks to Jennifer O at the front desk for being really helpful wit... read more

Dr. Erfourth, Blair, and the rest of the oncology department have treated my dog, Oreo, as if he were their own dog since we began chemo in June. In my experience, we have been treated with respect, our questions have been thoroughly answered with incredible patience, and my dog has received state-of-the-art care. I cannot recommend PVSEC enough!

Amazing clinic! They saved my girl's life and I can never thank them enough. They allowed me to stay over for visiting hours when I forgot what time it was. The technicians treated not just my dog but all of the animals in the ICU with her with so much kindness and love. I would have preferred my pup to have never needed to step paw in there but I'm so thankful that we ended up in great hands.

We were referred to PVSEC through MetVet. MetVet called ahead to let PVSEC aware that we were coming. Arrived at 4, and our dog was taken back at 4:30. By 6:30 we still had not spoken to a doctor and were advised by the front desk that there were 2 critical cases ahead of us. Which was fine. We understood. But by 8:30 the new shift of nurses and doctors had already taken place. We came to find out that our dog had been forgotten about. Apparently it was an Interning Doctor who made the slip. Needless to say we didn't leave u... read more

We ended up in the ER of PVSEC south and the staff was excellent, professional and also kind. Swig was admitted and became a hospital patient under the expert care of Dr. Rachel Smith. Dr. Smith and everyone there took superb care of Swig, ensuring his comfort and supervising his healing. Follow up calls and care have been above my expectations. Dr. Smith is that unique combination of personable and professional that we look for in our veterinary care. We have always liked PVSEC, but the north office is so far for us. Having... read more

Everyone was so nice to us and our dog Max! Both the Assistant and the Doctor took their time to explain everything to us in terms we understood. Would definitely return should we need speciality services for any of our pets.

Thank you for everything you have done for my cat Gus. While he is still not himself, you have really helped him. He was in a really bad place and was discharged from another local animal hospital unstable with an extremely high blood sugar. Then again today, you took him in when he was not feeling well and gave him fluids and did additional tests to get to the bottom of his illness. Thank you for everything!
