Dr Patel has been awesome as my gastroenterologist. I am 81 years old and when I developed serious condition, he was SUPER thorough. He ran tests no one has ever done before on me. He is very humble and kind. I felt like he was very concerned not just with me but all his patients. All the staff are great including his PA Mrs. Gonzalez

Scheduling a colonoscopy is more painful than the procedure! Able to schedule online? Nope - phone only. Long holds? Yup - expect 30 min before talking to someone. Rude hand off? Yup - expect to get cold hand off multiple times before getting to someone who can schedule a Colonoscopy (seems most of their staff can only schedule office visits) Scheduling answers via portal? Nope Long time before appointments are available? Yup. First time I tried to schedule (when I finally got through) they said... "don't call us, we'll cal... read more

Ghetto- hospital care. Absolutely avoid this branch if you are serious about quality healthcare. They don't know what they are doing. The don't communicate with the patient family- it's a mess. Care team made so many mistakes, and it kept happening day after day. It was exhausting dealing with them. They are not set up for any Magnet Nursing standards despite the optics. Management crisis- stay away!

After struggling with chronic knee pain for several years, i decided to have surgery      Injections and compensating were no longer options  On the recommendation of Dr Sama, HSS, I met with Dr Summers, HSS X-rays were taken.     Dr Summers explained in great detail what had taken place with my knee over the years      He recommended a total knee replacement  I am now 6 weeks post-op.   I’m thrilled to not have any pain in my knee    All normal activities have been resumed  Dr Summers surgery as well as the rehabilitat... read more

The St. Augustine Borland Groover facility looks impressive, but suffers in both the medical and administrative aspects. They seem to be a little unorganized with patient records. I go in for a pre-procedure visit with the Doctor, which seems straightforward. I get to the day of the procedure to wait an hour for prep, and then I am lying around for too long while a nurse is making me sign the same paperwork I just signed in the lobby. She then starts asking me about my medical history as if she had no idea who I was. Some nu... read more
