I got the sales pitch phone call this morning. The sales rep, *****, was sketchy - sales pitch was super long, I could hardly interrupt him to ask questions. After several attempts at asking him to repeat the main point of his call, I learned that the offer was: $298 for a 4 day, 3 night trip for 4 people AND a cruise for 2 people. And I'm supposed to get $200 back in dining spend as long as I attend their 120 minute presentation where he says I'm not obligated to purchase anything (according to other reviews on here, that'... read more

Sales presentation went fairly quick. Tour was fairly quick. When we declined on wanting to purchase they got very aggressive and kept coming back with more offers after telling them this was not for us. Not our type of vacation needs. We enjoy backwoods close to home on a lake and boating and fishing. What we would pay for the maintenance fees alone per year pretty much covers our vacation rentals. I was stopped by a Bluegreen sales representative while outlet shopping in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I was offered a deal in which I'd receive a 3 night vacation, and a carnival cruise voucher so long as I attended a time share presentation on the second day of my vacation. When I arrived for my 3 night vacation, they arranged for me to stay at a hotel. The hotel smelled moldy, there were stains the the bathtub, and roaches throughout the room and bathroom. My husband and I purchased points almost two years ago. While we enjoy getting away and most places are nice, it is not worth the hassle of trying to find a resort at the time and points you want. Unfortunately , it has also been our experience that their sales people lie about everything and anything just to make a sale. And when you call and ask a question you can not trust what they tell you as one person will tell you one thing and another person will contradict that information. This company Blue Green is all about high pressure sales for your hard earned dollars. One of their selling points is to leave your vacation package to your heirs. Its like gee dad i really miss you and thanks for leaving me a yearly financial burden. They also do not follow through on their promises for free stays...all hype. The sales staff will remind you of a seedy used car salesman.

When I purchased my $199 package at Bass Pro, I was told we would be put up for 3 nights in a luxury hotel. When we went, it was a mediocre Best Western Motel with roaches in our room and people partying outside the doors in the middle of the night. Can't complain, free room just not "luxury". We went to the Blue Green presentation and it was good, we even showed interest in all of the deals we were offered with a time share purchase. Lots and lots of "freebies!" My girlfriend and I went to a preview last weekend in Williamsburg, VA. We had a 3 night's stay at the Comfort Inn which was very nice. It had recently been renovated and was very clean and comfortable so no complaints with the accomodations. We were scheduled for a 2 hour presentation which ultimately took 4.5 hours. Way too long. We were "double teamed" by a very good salesman and his boss, also a likable, good salesman. Their presentation was very nicely done and it sounded like a good deal. This company does nothing but lie to get you to sign on the bottom line then when you try to hold them to the lies they simply say the salesman should not have told you that they do nothing to correct the problem they do nothing honor their promise they just put it all on you
