I received a phone call from Bluegreen Vacations. The caller ID was showing area code 802 which is the only exchange for the state of Vermont where I reside but the call was actually from Florida. The representative informed me that I was still in the running for a grand prize vacation drawing and that I had been selected for a promotional vacation package which would be good for the next 2 years. This is the worst company on the face of the earth. I've been paying on a 10 year mortgage for about 4 years now. Just got off the phone with a rep who told me: "Conference calls are not allowed." I said what? I had the wife on the phone with me so she could have input. They flat out told me they couldn't talk to me. So I hung up and called back. I booked a vacation through a stand Bluegreen had at a Bass Pro Shops in North Carolina. The sales person promised me $150 in gift cards if I paid for the vacation "right now" on the spot. He showed me the resorts they partner with which appealed to me so I did pay on the spot. After I paid, I was then told I (only me) would have to listen to a 2 hour long time share pitch in order to get the $75 gift card. booked my vacation and then was told to go South Mountain resort which is the only listing referenced on their website... read more
Was told the upgrade was a flat fee of 80$. When tried to book they wanted 60$ a night at a cheaper resort. Also told fees would be around 5$ a night. When looking to book it was 20$ a night. Luckily we found out in our 30 window and got a refund. Be careful with this company.
Attended a sales/marketing event at Las Vegas. None of the reps had a name tag, no business cards. They tried to sell a scam time/vacation share with hidden fees, ie $2600/yr maintenance cost. No paperwork, no contract, no by-laws, nothing. You will only receive something AFTER you sign or make a deposit. BIG SCAM! Buyer beware!!!
We went on a Blue Green Vacation last year, the room was sub par and we were FORCED to go to a 4 hour long presentation where they shoved time shares down our throats. We said no the ENTIRE 4 hours and left. Since that time they have called 1-2 PER WEEK saying that we owe them money from agreeing to do a time share. Which we never did. They threaten that it will affect our credit score if we do not send them money and refuse to stop calling.

Buying into Bluegreen Vacation was one of the worst decisions I have ever made! All the lies they tell you in the short amount of time is discussing. They are literally stealing peoples hard earned money and it is very sad. I was told that we would be able to use our point whenever we needed and when I tried to actually use my points that I had saved for 2 years I was unable to use them. I am absolutely ashamed that I believed such nonsense, its embarrassing.

I along with another individual purchased a Timeshare through Bluegreen Vacations in May of 2016 and have been significantly disappointed in not only the service given but also lack thereof. I have paid in full my membership in BG, in that it is one of the biggest regrets I have, I've NEVER used my membership. And yet they want to charge me a maintenance fee. I've called and have been told "since they have given me points..." I bought the **** points. Why am I charged a maintenance fee when I've never used the product?
