Our experience with Bluegreen has left very little to the imagination and zero satisfaction. Nothing we were led to expect from our "ownership" was delivered, and when we attempted to discuss this with Bluegreen representatives, we were give no resolution. Instead, fingers were pointed back at us, as if it was our fault we were deceived, manipulated, and taken advantage of. After buying into the Bluegreen Vacations we have enjoyed all of our vacations and time together with our family. Come June 2018 on our anniversary date with Bluegreen everything went very sideways. For some reason the Bluegreen system did not update properly and our annual points were never loaded. We had carried over some points from the previous year along with some planned vacations. Let me tell you all about my experience with Blue Green Vacations on my birthday June 26th, 2018. Yes this past week. My husband and I decided to finally plan our trip, we live in Saint Petersburg FL so figured the drive to Savannah GA wouldn't be bad. NEVER AGAIN!!! BUYER BEWARE!! Full of deceit and misrepresentation. Tried booking online for $149/4d-2n package, I chose Bluegreen Odyssey in Wisconsin Dells. But I decided to call for booking since they offer 4 free tickets for Mt. Olympus water park and the lady gave me options of either: Christmas Village or Bluegreen Odyssey. I chose Odyssey of course. Our family hadn't taken a vacation in 22 years. We booked our rooms in February of 2018, we had two rooms that could house 4 people and an 8 person villa (there was 13 of us traveling from Texas to Arizona plus a service dog). 2 days prior to our departure we found out that our 8 person villa had been cancelled and the money refunded to our account with NO NOTICE, not a phone call or an email. We bought this horrible time share 10 years ago. We have tried to sell it but with their restrictions it never happened. We have finally come to the last payment and instead of paying it off they charged us a 25.00 payoff fee leaving a small balance and proceeded to write us a snotty letter saying they see we tried to pay it off but they will continue charging interest and fees on the balance. After having taken my time to write out a letter of complaint to Bluegreen Vacations, we were reached out to by a "representative" in the Customer Care Management department - this happened around the first week of this month (June). The representative's response was NOT helpful and did not address ANY of the issues we brought up in our letter. I have been a Bluegreen owner since 2013 and have made several attempts to book at one of their resorts such as Manhattan, NY, New Orleans, LA, Gordonsville, VA, and Williamsburg, VA. During each attempt (a year in advance) we were told that the locations mentioned were not available or we didn't have enough points and would need to purchase additional points to book at the resort. Received a call saying I'm a finalist for some prize I signed up for and all finalists are being offered a 3 day/2 night stay at one of 10 BlueGreen Resorts. I informed them I would have to discuss with my husband and they kept offering more and more and more.
