Our experience with Bluegreen is truly disheartening. They have no remorse for anyone's struggles and what they are going through in their lives. My car was totaled by a negligent driver and we had to end up paying to cover an uninsured motorist. In the meantime, both me and my wife lost a parent and had to support our surviving parents. With traveling to take care of both of our parents plus taking care of our legally blind son we are struggling financially. We've had a decent experience with Bluegreen and being owners for the most part. HOWEVER, I highly recommend that you don't believe anything the sales reps tell you. The sales reps heavily over promise leaving you with extremely restricted options after the fact. We were given a 7 day vacation to any RCI resort and told by the sales rep that we could go to ANY RCI resort only to find out that the there's only a handful of resorts you can actually redeem the vacation at, and of that handful none of them are exactly "attractiv... read more

To Whom It May Concern, I have a timeshare ownership with Bluegreen that I am currently trying to get out of due to various complaints and concerns I have about the company. This ownership is NOT what it seems to be. The fees and rates are constantly increasing, there is never any availability when trying to book, and they do not provide customer service to owners. All I can say is if you are reading this please take it to heart and do not be sucked in by all the lies. The people in sales really have a way of making this sound like the opportunity of a life time, it is not. When I went for the 1 hour presentation it turned in to 6. We were told lies about the properties available to stay in, some which didn't and still do not exist. This was lie one. If you want to pay a mortgage for 10 years for something that you will never be able to use and pay maintenance fees that go up every year, this is the company for you. This was high pressure to buy from the beginning, they do not take no from you, nicely. We are stuck with this high priced debt that we will NEVER get anything out of or pass along to our kids, ha! If you never want to be able to use the product you will empty your pockets for AND have their company blind side you with more bills and dues, then by all means become an owner with Bluegreen. They have done nothing but steal our money and dreams of vacationing - it's impossible! We've tried to contact them to discuss our ownership and explain why we want out of it and we've gotten NOWHERE! Do NOT fall for a "free" gift card, a meal or anything in between! It'll turn out to be the worst decision you ever make! Bluegreen tries to convince you that passing it down to your children is truly a great thing BUT turns out it's just debt that will follow them forever. They'll also make you think you can vacation anywhere in the world at your discretion, just have to call and book it. FALSE! Our timeshare ownership has not been the wonderful experience we were sold on. We were supposed to have a free cruise with our purchase but we never received information about that, and we cannot book any reservations we want. When we called for help, our calls were either not returned or we were simply offered another sales pitch. We would have to pay extra money to roll over points and we were not told the maintenance fees would go up. We have taken NO VACATIONS because the resorts we want are always full. If I could give less than one star I would. I'm so tired of Bluegreen's manipulation. No one ever reached out to me after multiple requests to speak to a manager.
