I just want to complain about Bluegreen for a minute! I have been back and forth with their Customer Care department trying to get in contact with them regarding my complaints. I had a lady call and was really hateful when I stated that it wasn't a good time and she insisted on trying to have a conversation with me and when I told her not to call my wife's phone she responded with "well will anybody even pick up that phone??" We have been Bluegreen owners for over 10 years and have gone on family vacations every year. Our ownership makes it possible for us to have a wonderful time in very nice locations and wonderful facilities.

My spouse got roped in by a cold call, paying $99 for 3-night stay that we did not use (within that year). A year later, they called again and got him to spend another $300 with a promise to add a 5-day cruise and $350 in restaurant gift cards. You are supposed to be able to call back within a few days and get a refund. Guess what? He tried, but they routed him all around and said he would get a return call. No one called. We were skeptical of owning a timeshare but with all Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited,Inc has to offer we are believers in this timeshare. We haven't been disappointed at all with our vacations. The staff is always accommodating, answering all questions and very thorough booking our vacations. There are no hidden costs as there are with other timeshares. We highly recommend this company and look forward to many adventures.

We have been members of Bluegreen for over a decade and have never regretted our initial investment. Having the chance to vacation in surroundings we could only dream of owning, is what makes our membership so valuable. We have had issues at times with home away from home but it seems like each property has wonderful employees to rectify each problem without us experiencing much inconvenience at all. We have invested a lot over the years and are glad we did.

Blue Green offers consistent high quality of accommodations at its resorts, as well as, knowledgeable and courteous staff. The resorts were designed to be thematic and are authentic for the regions in which they are located. The staff is aware of local activities. A range of ownership options are available. The staff picked up a Thanksgiving dinner we had ordered because the restaurant was closed that day. We have enjoyed our stays at Blue Green.

I was contacted by some sleazy company in NH (JCS SWAIN ENT) saying that I won a raffle for 4 free plane tickets. The woman literally said "you won.." and referred to my "prize" (later the snotty manager kept insisting that I was never told that I WON anything...except that I was... I entered to win a car, and instead Bluegreen sold my personal information to these *** to get me into their resort to buy a timeshare. I had a bad feeling about it and did some research. My experience is consistent with other customers who complained about refund issues. I purchased a vacation package over the phone, and the refund terms communicated to me over the phone are inconsistent with what Bluegreen is telling me now, even though the call was recorded. According to the terms the package was sold to me under, I am eligible for a refund, but they will not honor it. I have filed a BBB complaint, and I urge others with similar experiences to do the same. I am surprised this company has an A+ BBB rating. ... read more
