COVER CLAIMS! I spend a fortune every year and each year you raise the price by $400 and tell me nothing I submit for is covered. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. You take advantage of people's passion for their pets by selling the coverage that you will never fulfill.
Appalling. This company is horrible. They don’t reimburse, read claims thoroughly, ignore veterinary letters, and assume illnesses are pre existing. Save time and misery and go elsewhere! They’ll come back here and tell me this was related to a pre existing condition BUT IT WAS NOT. And my vet wrote a legal letter stating that, but it was still ignored. :)

The people working for this company should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT sign up for this service!!! Total waste of money. Our dog was neglected by previous owners and had a UTI and a skin infection when she came into the mspca- as a result pets best refuses to cover any claim related to a UTI or anything skin or ear related claiming that it is a preexisting condition. YOU COULD PAY PEOPLES CLAIMS AND NOT JUST TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM. THIS WAS A TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!!! EXPENSIVE LESSON LEARNED. AFTER SHELLING OUT OVER $1600 ONLY RECEIVED $346 BACK - AND THIS WAS ALL ROUTINE VACCINATIONS.
I filed a claim on my 2 cats that had teeth lesions. The vet I used is Banfield, which did a teeth cleaning on 12/5/18. I had the teeth lesions taken care of 12/21 and the claims were partially paid. The vet bundled the teeth extractions with anesthesia as a teeth cleaning, so they denied 233.17 in each cat stating the service performed 12/21 was a cleaning, when in fact it was the teeth extractions. Our experience with Pets Best has been amazing. Our questions are answered quickly and our claims are reviewed within a few days and any reimbursements auto paid to our account. Our cats get into a lot of trouble and having this insurance provides a huge peace of mind!
Please stay far, far away from this company. They deny every claim stating that whatever the issue is, it's pre-existing. Their appeal process is a joke that ultimately ends up in the hands of an "objective third party veterinarian." How can someone they hire to review a claim possibly be objective? My fur baby was put to sleep exactly two weeks ago today. Had Pets Best performed like a legitimate company, and not as an outright scam artist, my baby might still be with me right now.
