I have Had Best Pet Insurance on my Dog since he was a puppy and now he is 6 years old. I have and will continue to recommend Best Pets health insurance.

I have had Pets Bet Insurance for 2 years on both of my dogs. Recently, I had the experience of going through my first claims process. When I was shopping for pet insurance, Pets Best was the lowest price for the most amount of coverage that I found. I submitted my first claim a little over a week or so ago, and my claim was processed within a few days. I received payment to my bank account shortly after the payment was processed. I enrolled and then when I requested to cancel because the deductible was high & not cost effective they billed my credit card 3 more times. Their customer service was not helpful at all.

I do not reccomend this insurance company to any of my fellow pet owners. I read my policy very carefully before submitting my Wellness Claim to know what I should be reimbursed. My pet received a wellness exam which I should have received $50 back towards the exam, and they denied it because an illness was found that day. So I paid for and received a Wellness Exam for my pet, but they still will not cover it. Let me share my story with you so you can avoid Pets Best at all costs. In September I submitted two claims for my Goldendoodle for Ear Infections. They said they needed more information from the Vet and closed my claims. I talked to my vet and they had sent my pets file to them. I called them back and they said it seemed “light”. Well he is only 9 months old. So they said they would look into reopening the claim, since the vet sent information. They denied my claim. my cat had a broken tooth removed. They used to be good about paying claims but I guess not anymore

Literally the worst experience ever! Not only do they take 30 days to respond back to you but they never cover anything you submit! I’ve spent so much on my vet visits and the monthly fees to where they only covered $30. Crazy. Their staff only goes in circle and it took me 4 months to speak to “management” who was rude. I’ve appealed twice just to receive the same answer. Save your time and money, look somewhere else!
