I'm disgusted , I paid so much money through Farmer's Insurance when I could've bought the same plan cheaper Thru the online website. Because nothing I submitted though new in condition and not Pre- existing , for as much as I paid, was not reimbursed nor explained . I waited so many days past their ," 5 days , turn around time , to address or reimburse , then I took it upon myself to just contact , the so called agency which got me no where. I bought pet insurance for my precious dog Ribbon (mixed breed, mostly black lab but smaller, about 5 years old, adopted from a wonderful place called Saving Grace in Raleigh, NC) but I was hesitant to do so - I wondered if it was worth it. YES IT WAS!! A few months ago, Ribbon got very sick and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Needless to say, she was very ill. So here is an update to my review of Pets Best and there business practices. My mastiff who tore her ACL had the insurance increased from $46 to $76 in a year and Pets best tries to convince people that they don't increase insurance based on any recent surgeries but to age/geographics blah blah blah. Well my mastiff had to go back for surgery 8 months later due to the vet who performed an incorrect procedure on her. They are increasing my premiums by 60% I have been a loyal customer of Pet's Best for 5-6 years. I had to file a claim 3 years ago because my dog was attacked and I will admit that they were very good to work with. Other than that, I filed 1 medical claim this month. They will reimburse me about $152. That being said...I am canceling my policy with them as of next month. How many people are willing to pay 60% more next year for your insurance?? Insane. 2 stars for past experience. Very disappointed.

Thank you Pets Best for being there when I needed you most. I HIGHLY recommend this company!!! I placed insurance on my 11 year old lab and 6 month lab in December 2016. My 11 year lab ended up very sick and in the hospital for 3 days, lots of specialized treatments, plus follow up vet visits, medications etc..and they paid over $3000 of my almost $4000 bill. Unfortunately, the Drs weren't able to save my my baby so I had to put him down 2 months later- they even paid toward euthanasia and cremation, something I was not expe... read more
