Piece of mind knowing I can make the decision on my Ellie's needs because I have a Lifetime plan. My last dog got cancer and I didn't have insurance. Had to refinance my house to pay off the credit card!!! Now I just have to turn in a claim when something happens. �
zero. . you get a plan...does not cover neuter mishaps. .this was pre existing...this not covered..so sorry the pet was healthy when we got him. . waste of time
This company is a joke... I initially got the standard plan (up to 500 per incident) when my dog was a puppy and it did help out a little in the beginning. It doesnt seem to even be available anymore though. The last 3 years however have been the epitome of dealing with an insurance company. Every claim is either denied or sent through continuous loops for the vet to send more information about the incident until the claim is ultimately denied. Jeremy, I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble. The standard plan with the $500 incident limit is our smallest policy option. We do offer larger plans that cover greater monetary amounts, as well as less exclusions. I will send this notice over to our claims department and have them contact your vet for you on your behalf if we need any information or an appeal for a claim. I used to recommend this insurance. But of course, the money of the customers has become more important to the company than the customers. When I bought this insurance over 6 years ago, it was mainly because they advertised their rates not going up until the dog turns 10 years old. Well, my dogs are 8 and 7 and my rates went up. I wrote PetFirst on their website twice and they never even acknowledged my letter! So again the money in their pocket wins out over their customers.......

In some states for some ages and breeds, the rates may increase (or even decrease!) from year to year.
