5 stars. I have used PetFirst Insurance for 8 years for all of my pets. I have found their services to be very useful and helpful. All the agents have been very knowledgeable about the terms and conditions of our policies. Most recently my 14 year old dog has been treated for a torn ACL. I chose physical therapy rather than surgery due to her age. PetFirst explained the coverage and once the deductible was met per my policy, all treatments have been covered at 90%. I have been very satisfied with their service.

We've been customers for around eleven years and this insurance has helped give us peace of mind that we can afford to take care of our pets needs. The customer service agents have been great when I've had to call to ask a question and I find the process of filing a claim pretty easy. We were submitting claims frequently with our last dog and they were processed within a normal amount of time. I have been with PetFirst for several years and I would never think of switching. They were there for me when my beloved Maltese, Mia got sick. I have three pets insured and the claims process is always easy and fast. I really feel like they are part of the family.

Ive had 2 claims of about 1500.00 total in the last half year with my 13 y/o Boston..Pet first was very prompt in paying them out and I received a generous reimburstment. The premiums are a bit high but overall its worth it

PetFirst has easy online filing of claims. They process the claims in a very timely manner so you don’t have to wait long for reimbursement. I definitely recommend PetFirst!

Great customer service although claims take awhile to be processed and most things are not covered that should be. I would review policy details carefully as I had a $2000 policy that didn’t cover routine vaccines, spay or neuter surgery or anything to do with it (medication, diagnostics), and common surgeries like ACL, etc. I had the plan for a little over a month before I realized most of my claims were being denied for various reasons.
