History Established in 2013. Penny's Pit was built from the ground up and is family owned and operated. Ryan and Christina Klundt, along with Christina's father David and sister Nichole started Penny's with minimal savings and income, without any business loans.David came up with the name "Penny's Pit" after Christina and Ryan's pit bull dog Penny. Penny's Pit never disappoints! By far the best burgers in Idaho. We drive over from Coeurdalene often to enjoy this amazing little gem. Great atmosphere, friendly prompt service and drool worthy food at a reasonable price......yes please!!!

Great service. chelcie was a great server. Food was fast and tasty, the parmesean fries were off the hook!!. I enjoyed it and will be back..... with more people!!!
Had a great experience here today. Some gentleman had paid for three tables meals and the next person to sit at our table. Our meal and drinks were free. So in turn, I paid for the next persons beer that sat at the bar. This isn't the only reason for my great review, we received amazing service and the fries we had were out of this world. My only recommendation would be to take out that laundromat and make it bigger! Great food, Great service for what they have, and a great local feel. We went for the first time a couple weeks ago, we had a great experience! Delicious burgers, reasonable price, and great service. Penny's Pit is our new go to burger place!
It was so good second time I have ever ate there and I will be back and the fries are to die for
