History Established in 2013. Penny's Pit was built from the ground up and is family owned and operated. Ryan and Christina Klundt, along with Christina's father David and sister Nichole started Penny's with minimal savings and income, without any business loans.David came up with the name "Penny's Pit" after Christina and Ryan's pit bull dog Penny. You want an amazing and original burger, come here! We saw posts on Facebook about it and had to try it after seeing some photos of some incredible burgers! We were not disappointed! This is by far the best burger place you could go to!!! Great food, great people, and great prices!!!

Ate there again yesterday and by far some of the best burgers in North Idaho! Fresh beef made to your liking and yummy fries. I highly recommend the Huckleberry Lemonade infused with Strawberries for a drink! Great service too!!
