History Established in 2013. Penny's Pit was built from the ground up and is family owned and operated. Ryan and Christina Klundt, along with Christina's father David and sister Nichole started Penny's with minimal savings and income, without any business loans.David came up with the name "Penny's Pit" after Christina and Ryan's pit bull dog Penny. Had the avocado bacon burger (bun less & cheese less) Saturday with sweet potato fries. Delicious! Service was awesome: down home friendly. Will definitely be back!
