History Established in 2013. Penny's Pit was built from the ground up and is family owned and operated. Ryan and Christina Klundt, along with Christina's father David and sister Nichole started Penny's with minimal savings and income, without any business loans.David came up with the name "Penny's Pit" after Christina and Ryan's pit bull dog Penny. This place has great food....Too bad they don't do take out on a Friday night. Just lost a lot of business. Was going to get dinner for the family since my son was up on the roof putting down new shingles. The family will miss the food. Sad part....they weren't even busy. If they had been busy, I would have understood. I will share with friends and family on how they don't want the business.

Kathy I am not going to argue with you, just trying to enlighten you a bit as to why we make the decisions we do. My husband and I work very hard to run this place on our own, until you walk a day in our shoes its hard to understand where we are coming from. I believe it is best if we do part ways. I'm sorry you feel the way you do about us but we stand by our business and our decisions. For the love if you've not eaten here you NEED to make it a priority!!! The food is amazing and affordable. The staff is super friendly. Definitely my new favorite.
My husband and I both loved it! The food is great, staff is friendly, and prices affordable. The hard part was choosing which burger we wanted. They all looked amazing. We decided we would just have to come back and try them all.

Pennys pit has amazing food, great prices and wonderful service. I went to red robins today (which I used to love) but it fell far short of my now raised expectations! Way to go pennys pit, you have become my new favorite! I have told everyone I know to check you out!!! Keep up the great work
