History Established in 2013. Penny's Pit was built from the ground up and is family owned and operated. Ryan and Christina Klundt, along with Christina's father David and sister Nichole started Penny's with minimal savings and income, without any business loans.David came up with the name "Penny's Pit" after Christina and Ryan's pit bull dog Penny. I absolutely love going to Pennys Pit...whether it's just little old me going all alone or a date afternoon with my boys or a date night with my hubby I can always count on the best burger and meal in town! Was extremely excited that I decided to share this amazing place with my parents visiting from CA tonight and once again had nothing but perfection! We love you Penny's Pit!!!!
