Our ER experience was absolutely horrendous.. The hospital should be ashamed of the staff they currently have representing them.
RecommendedOur son has been here 4 weeks. The doctors, nurses, and staff have taken great care of him. The ChildLife staff has been great in helping to keep him busy and not thinking about missing school or not being home, which is 45 minutes away. We thank everyone who is taking care of him. Bless each of you.
My experience with this hospital is getting progressively worse. I get to watch my wife suffer as she is treated by apathetic nurses and doctors that are too busy for their own good. They don't even have the decency to come back to the rooms when they said they would, instead they put orders in with no explanation to anyone. if I ever get sick I DO NOT want to be brought here.
HMC is a world-class medical facility and teaching institution, whose providers have saved my life on several occasions. In an era where governement and national healthcare systems are being sabotaged and dismantled. HMC offers all of us a safe refuge and an efficacious, comprehensive health care sanctuary. Thank you HMC, for your vision, training facilities, and practitioners!

I don’t even want to give them 1 star. The ER new “process” is absolutely crazy. Where do i even start?? The nurse sitting at the check in desk who asks you all your history and problems while you’re checking in and for everyone else to hear. (I now know the name and whole medical history of the guy who checked in after me.) Or the doctor in triage who talks to u in a separate room and then goes out and announces to everyone your problem and what he thinks is going on..again so all the others checking in can hear. My dad is still in HMC and the communication is HORRIBLE. I leave numerous messages for the cardiologists working with my dad and never get calls back. Only when I go into his room and demand one come talk to me do they talk to me. The doctors didn’t want my father eating anything after he had trouble swallowing. Then when I’m in there a doctor tells me they’re resuming his diet. He tries to eat and chokes again. The nurse comes in all mad about him eating and I tell her the doctor said it was fine.
