The entire time I was talking with the doctor he was on his cell phone texting. They lied on the medical review/summary thing regarding why I was in the emergency room. This used to be the best hospital in the area. Now, they are the worst. If anything ever happens to me and it’s a life or death situation, I would rather die than go back to this place. If anyone decides to go here, make sure you have a good team of lawyers BEFORE you go. I promise you’ll need it.

My husband was hospitalized on the 4th floor neuro unit this past week. Thank you all so much for the exceptional care he received while a patient there! The physicians, nurses and everyone we encountered were wonderful to us! Thank you!!!
Nurses are nice but don't seem to be able to answer any questions or get any doctors here. We were told a doctor would be here at 630 or 7am.... 0800: No sign of doctor. Ask nurse when doctor would be coming. She said she would page some one. 0830: Nurse comes back, says doctor called back and said he was in a meeting. Would be here soon. 0930: Still no doc. Nurse says she will page someone again. 1000: Nurse comes back, says she didn't hear back after the page. So she will try paging someone else. 1025: Told GI was being co... read more

Wee for starters had to transger from York no biggy. But ive been here coming up on 2 days but awake for 24 hours straight due to them not being able to get us our bed. My son is sleeping fine but my pregnant girlfriend and I haven't even had a f***ing blanket to cover up with. We were told 5 minutes here 10 minutes there and every time its something else. The lack communication skills and more importantly they don't care.
The ratings Hershey Medical provides on their website for their doctors is completely inaccurate. Check any other medical review website and you'll notice your "4 star" rated doctor actually has a 1.4 star rating with truthful posts. Our doctor Abraham Taylor gave us nothing but frustration during the length of my loved ones stay. We even heard him gossiping about my family "giving him a hard time" after we asked him to give my loved the attention she rightfully deserved. This is completely unprofessional.
