The people from the doctors, nurses, staff, maintenance people, cafeteria workers were absolutely caring. All saying hello, to, can I help you. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Heart and Vascular institute group is the best. Thank you for helping my hubby get on the road to feeling better!
Everybody has their own opinion about different hospitals, my opinion about MSHMC is mixed. From 1999 to 2005 my mother had several admission, her very first admission saved her life and I will always be thankful to them for that. Sadly over time they have lost sight of the individual. I was released yesterday from MSHMC I was in surgery on Thursday for approximately 5.5-6.5 hours and they sent me home Saturday even though I was not comfortable with their decision, my concerns were not addressed. There are a few bad apples a few. Nurse Ratchets.to say the least in the NICU unit not to mention names ok it was (Pam) but very disrespectful no bed side maner they have made my family like they did not belong there.we have had nurses tell us to visit often talk to youre baby touch youre baby hold babys hands change diapers take temps do skin to skin do care time 4 times a day... Then other nurses tell us not to talk to our baby dont touch baby...then come out and say after being there for weeks do yo even know how to touch... read more
Always received excellent care when here. Staff is always very friendly an goes above an beyond for their patients.
Not a long wait at all, was taken via EMS � to Emerg for severe muscle spasms. Due to some underlying previous back issues, the doctor � decided not to run any tests. So here I am, not a clue as to why this is happening and just told to pretty much "deal with it". No x-rays, no CT, no MRI. No imaging, whatsoever. I guess getting to the bottom of why you're actually going to hospital in the first place isn't their top priority, and never has been.
